The Orange Square is ringed by many restaurants and shops. The Marbella town hall is located here, as well as the Marbella tourism office, (to the right of the orange trees). At the tourism office you can find free maps and information about cultural events and what's going on in Marbella.

On the right side of the tourism office entrance is the Old Christian Wall which dates back to 1485.

During the warmer evenings, while you dine in the Orange Square (or in other parts of the old town of Marbella), you can be serenaded by Tuna musicians, (singular, Tuno). Tunas are traditionally university students that dress in medieval costume and play medieval instruments, singing their way around the old town. Groups of Tunas can number between four to twenty musicians. They will usually play a couple of songs at each restaurant then pass a hat around for donations, which is actually their wine money. The tradition of Tuna goes back 600 years, when jugglers and troubadours travelled the country, entertaining people for a living.
