Funny Beach is part of Cable Beach which is 40 meters wide and 1.3 kilometers long and is located on the east side of Marbella, between the fishing port and Rio Real river. The sand quality here is really good, as are all the beaches east of Marbella town, that are known for there cream to golden coloured sand.
Funny Beach is also a fun park with many activities for children and grownups. There is motorized fun with go karts, children's motor bikes, cars and boats. And fun rides with an ejection seat slingshot, trampolines and other bouncing rides. Video games and pool tables can be played in the indoor area and from the beach area you can hire jetskis, motor boats, sail boats and pedalos. Funny Beach has an indoor/outdoor family restaurant and bar which provides barbecued food as well as chiringuito bars nearer the beach.
Funny Beach really is a fun place for kids and a popular location for hosting birthday parties. Entrance to Funny Beach fun park is free and each attraction is paid for seperately.
The beaches east of Marbella are not as busy as in town and with less people there is more room for almost every type of activity. It is possible to walk along the uninterrupted shoreline for 10 kilometers east of Marbella (until Puerto Cabopino) and find restaurant chiringuitos every 500 meters or so, each with its own style and cuisine specialty.
