The Hotel El Fuerte is a four star hotel situated on the east side of Marbella, overlooking the beach. It is only a short stroll from the Marbella old town, with all its restaurants, shops and the Orange Square, Plaza de los Naranjos. It is also a stones throw away from the beginning of Marbella's paseo maritimo promenade that follows Marbella's coastline for about two kilometers.
The El Fuerte hotel has 263 fully equipped rooms with air conditioning, heating, telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, minibar and safe.
El Fuerte has two restaurants, a bar and a cafeteria that offers both hot and cold dishes. The Olivo restaurant is where guests enjoy a buffet breakfast and an evening buffet at dinner. And for those that prefer a la carte, the Beach Club El Fuerte offers a taste of some of the local specialties, especialy seafood dishes.
The hotel has two large swimming pools, one of which was covered during the winter months. Sports facilities include tennis and paddle tennis, a gymnasium which has a sauna, Turkish bath and massage services. Within the area of Marbella there is a large selection of golf courses that can be booked from the hotel reception, many with special packages and prices for hotel guests.
