Levante means The East in Spanish and to the east of Puerto Banus is Levante Beach. Playa Levante is 500 meters long by 300 meters wide and holds a European blue flag for beach quality. From here you can walk along the beach for 6 kilometers without obstical to Marbella Town. Levante Beach is very popular and has tons of room and lots of sunbeds. Various beach bar chiriguitos are situated on the beach where you can enjoy a meal or a drink. During the summer season life guards watch swimmers from the lookout tower. To the west of Banus are five beachlets, each with a diameter of approximately 150 meters. They also hold a European blue flag for beach quality.
